MY GOAL

I aim to support my clients to develop the tools and resilience to better cope with the world around them, be at peace with the events of the past and more confident about approaching the future.

Everyone has their own unique experience of life and what may be effective for one individual may not work well for others. I believe in aiming for personal, bespoke and sustainable solutions which allow my clients to come away from therapy better prepared to independently live their lives and maintain good mental health.

MY APPROACH

I am a person-centred psychotherapist by training however along my professional journey I have picked up some useful techniques from other modalities such as Solution-focussed brief therapy and CBT, which, where appropriate, I integrate into my practice to adapt to the needs of each client.

I have experience working with a wide range of different individuals of all different backgrounds and age groups and have found a real value in honest human connection. For this reason, I am quite a relaxed sort of practitioner, I don't get hung up on formalities and welcome any style of communication that feels natural in order to create a safe space for authentic self-expression.

Does Relationship Therapy
Work?

The state of our relationships can often be what dictates the quality of our lives.


Whether there's an immediate issue that needs addressing, historical concerns that have gone unresolved or future concerns that are difficult to voice, relationship therapy creates a space within which both parties can be heard and understood.

I specialise in communication, infidelity and trust issues, pre-marital counselling, conflict resoltuion, parenting styles, attachment styles and intimacy issues.

Sometimes there is a concern that I might be biased in one way or another, perhaps in favour of who's hurt most or who contacted me first - to put it simply, I am biased in favour what ever will result in healthy outcomes for the relationship.

I like to work proactively, meaning if there are any suggestions I can make,  techniques I can share with you or behaviours that need calling out - I will do just that.

Sessions are held online via Google Meet and each individual session typically lasts 50 minutes although extended or double session are available.

For the best results I recommend having sessions on a weeky basis however I do also offer sessions on a bi-weekly basis.

It's important that you feel confident that you are able to get the most out of therapy and choosing the right therapist can feel like a daunting task!
